Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary team and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Your duties will include:
• Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and other kitchen personnel. Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure all team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Food Preparation and Presentation: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. Maintain the highest standards of excellence in culinary execution.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock is maintained at all times.
• Compliance and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Oversee cleanliness and hygiene practices in the kitchen, implement sanitation protocols, and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a leadership role in a culinary environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and attention to detail skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
