Events Organiser - UK

We are seeking creative and detail-oriented Event Organisers to join 2 well-known Catering Companies located in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow & Ayrshire. As an Event Organiser, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and product launches to weddings and private parties. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and vision, and then bring that vision to life through flawless event planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and preferences.
• Develop event concepts and themes, including venue selection, décor, entertainment, and catering options.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the event are organised and executed seamlessly.
• Create detailed event timelines, schedules, and budgets, and manage all logistical aspects of the event.
• Oversee onsite event setup, coordination, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to plan.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality of our events.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in catering or hospitality management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
