Catering Manager - UK
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Managers to join 2 well-known Catering Companies located in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow & Ayrshire. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction. From planning and executing events to managing budgets and staffing, you will play a pivotal role in delivering memorable dining experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organise and execute catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions.
• Develop innovative menus in collaboration with our culinary team, taking into account dietary restrictions and client preferences.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, equipment rental, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Analyse financial data and prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports to track performance and profitability.
• Train, motivate, and supervise catering staff, providing ongoing support and feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in catering or hospitality management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
