Care Home Kitchen Assistant - UK

Immediate vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our beautiful care home with a modern kitchen in Scotland.

Reporting to: Head Chef/Manager, Job Purpose: Support the Chef in Specific work section.

Required Skills

Carry out tasks quickly and competently.
Follow instructions.
Use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
Energy and enthusiasm.

Desired Skills

Must have experience in caring for the Elderly.
Highly motivated and organized.
Food hygiene qualification (training will be given).

Main Responsibilities

Basic preparation of food / General prep needed for a meal
Unloading deliveries and supplies
Organising the store room and cold room
Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
Help chefs get ready for serving food to the service users

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.
