Auto Electrician - UK

As one of the most diverse engineering companies in the region, operating as a group from four sites and employing over 100 people, we looking to recruit an Auto Electrician based in Central Scotland. Working as part of an established and friendly team, this is a permanent position offering an immediate start.

Main duties of an Auto Electrician:-

• servicing, repairs and installation of 12/24v dc knowledge particularly on agricultural machinery, forklifts, quarry plant, heavy industry vehicles
• fault finding on the same
• be able to read electrical and hydraulic technical drawings
• liaising and assisting other departments source / order parts
• recording relevant data, working to company procedures
• maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
• complying with health and safety legislation

The ideal Auto Electrician will possess: -

• proven experience in a similar role
• previous electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics knowledge
• mechanical knowledge and experience would be an advantage
• fault diagnosis experience
• ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
• good communication skills
• a keen interest for all things mechanical
