Assistant Accountant - UK
The role will provide operational support to the finance team.
What will I do?
• Review, create and issue Purchase Orders on Sage Intacct Accounting system
• Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements
• Raise customer sales invoices
• Review and approve employee expenses claims
• Undertake credit control activities, chase outstanding balances and ensure invoices are paid
• Allocate payments and receipts to supplier and customer accounts
• Process company credit card transactions
• Prepare month end journals
What are we looking for?
• Good experience in a similar role with a high volume of invoices and queries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Previous experience with Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
• Attention to detail
• Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise
